TERMS OF SALE & DIGITAL IMAGING LICENSE

1. Overview
By purchasing a digital image or print from Carolina’s Canvas, you (“Client” or “Purchaser”) agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of the purchased media.
All content is the intellectual property of Carolina’s Canvas and is protected by copyright law. You are receiving a limited license to use the content under the conditions set forth below.
2. Delivery & Download
Digital images will be delivered via secure download link.
Print fulfillment is handled through a professional print lab and will ship to the address provided at checkout.
3. Digital Image Usage License (Personal Use Only)
You are purchasing a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only. This means:
You may: Download and save the purchased high-resolution, watermark-free image(s)
Print the image(s) for personal display (at home, in a personal photo book, or as a gift)
Share the image(s) on your personal social media (with visible credit to Carolina’s Canvas when possible)
You may not: Use the image(s) for any commercial or promotional purposes (e.g., marketing, advertising, product packaging, etc.)
Alter, edit, crop, or filter the image(s) in a way that distorts the original work or removes the watermark (prior to purchase)
Sell, license, or distribute the image(s) to third parties
Submit the image(s) to contests, publications, or media outlets without prior written permission
If you are interested in commercial or editorial use, please contact studio@carolinascanvas.com for licensing options.
All preview images on the site are low-resolution, watermarked samples. Upon purchase, Client will receive access to a high-resolution, professionally edited image without watermark (delivered digitally or as a print).
Turnaround for edited digital delivery is typically 3–5 business days, unless otherwise specified.
4. Print Orders
All print purchases are made to order. Please note:
When purchasing physical prints colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings or print lab variations
All print sales are final; no returns or exchanges unless the product is damaged in transit. If a print arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days for a replacement.
Turnaround for edited print orders is typically 3-5 business days + processing and shipping time from designated print factory.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the nature of photography and digital downloads, all digital image sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given once a file has been downloaded. If you experience a technical issue, please contact us within 7 days of purchase. Prints are non-refundable, unless there is a clear issue with quality or damage during shipping.
6. Copyright Notice - Image Usage & Rights Notice
All images remain the intellectual property of Carolina’s Canvas.
You are purchasing a license, not ownership of the image.
Photographer retains the right to use images for portfolio, promotion, and social media unless a written agreement states otherwise.
By purchasing digital images or prints from Carolina’s Canvas, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. This includes display on personal devices, printing for personal enjoyment, and sharing on social media with proper credit.
All rights remain with Carolina’s Canvas. This license does not permit commercial use, resale, publication, or any promotional use without prior written permission and a commercial license.
This usage license aligns with the terms outlined in Carolina’s Canvas Photography Services Agreement. For commercial licensing, please contact us at studio@carolinascanvas.com.
